My heart is like the barren sand
Stripped of fairy-tale delight;
Miles of windswept prairie land
Grief, our most unwelcome blight.
Jesus, come - restore my life;
Upon this vessel pour Your balm.
Jesus, come and calm all strife;
You alone are Truth, my Psalm.

I dedicate this poem to the family and friends of Daniel Frouman.

Profoundly beautiful. Thank you Julie! He can console the hard heart when yielded to Him. :-)
